Katie 21, and husband Nick 23, knew before the wedding that Katie had terminal cancer but Nick vouched to marry the love of his life. With all her complications, Katie planned every part of her wedding. Her dresses had to be altered many times due to the constant weight loss.
Katie died 5 days after her wedding. She did not let sickness stop her from living, or take away the hope or faith that made her believe she had a future. She had a lovely wedding; She had love and gave love, and love doesn’t die. And that is how Katie beat cancer.
To see a fragile woman dress as bride with a beautiful smile makes you think… Happiness is always there within reach, no matter how long it lasts. Let’s enjoy life and not live a complicated life. Life is too short.
